Pulsiv appoints new CEO to drive next stage of growth

7th September 2026
Pulsiv today announced the appointment of Tim Joyce as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Tim succeeds outgoing CEO Darrel Kingham, who has stepped down to pursue new opportunities.

Tim joins Pulsiv at a pivotal moment as the company transitions from core technology development into full commercial expansion, ramping up product deployment, and securing initial commercial revenues across global markets.

Tim joined Pulsiv six months ago as Chief Financial Officer, having built his earlier career in investment banking, specialising in derivatives and in building and scaling high-performing teams. He has since developed a track record as an angel investor and adviser to early-stage companies, and had invested in Pulsiv twice before joining the business, reflecting a long-held conviction in its technology and commercial potential. Since taking on the CFO role, Tim has played a central part in shaping the company’s strategy, and the Board is unanimous that his combination of financial discipline, entrepreneurial instinct and deep belief in Pulsiv’s technology make him ideally placed to lead the company into its next phase of growth.

"Pulsiv has established an extraordinary technical foundation and proven the value of its breakthrough architecture," said Tim Joyce, CEO of Pulsiv. "As we move into this next chapter, our priority is clear: driving commercial adoption, delivering value to our global customer base, and executing a sustainable strategy for high-yield revenue growth. I am thrilled to join the team and lead the business through this exciting scale-up phase."

Neil Crabb, Chairman of Pulsiv, said: "Tim demonstrates a long-held conviction in the commercial potential of our technology and has already made a material impact on our strategic direction. I believe his combination of financial discipline, entrepreneurial instinct and deep belief in Pulsiv’s technology makes him ideally placed to lead the company forward and unlock its full commercial potential."

With an expanding patent portfolio and a clear ambition to scale its technology into markets worldwide, Pulsiv will continue under Tim’s leadership to advance its product roadmap, delivering high-efficiency AC-DC power conversion solutions that significantly improve efficiency, lower energy waste, and reduce overall size in power electronics designs.
